Malaysia Is still beautiful... Tragic to be infested with Corruption!

I weep for my country! I weep and I ache in recent changes
Is it not obvious, Is it not transparent
That corruption is at its prime, corruption kills
The politicians Prosper but the people suffer
Damn those bastards with filled pockets,
Blood money of the people, defied by greed
The need for survival has reached desperation
The fight for life has turned ugly with violence
The people will allow this not and dark times await!
None is secure, no person safe
with the new rape of the nation,
Crime will soar, violence abounds, protest in excess
Soaring to unbelievable heights, the country fails
And virtues gone, hostile are people now
The rest of the World watch in glee
When pride and greed devours the nation
and the rest of the world will seek benefits from the aftermath
and for these do I weep, For these we all bleed
But for the government, It glees with the rising fees
And soon, chaos will strike
and those damned fools will watch the horror
for the crime against the country, for the rape of the people
And silence will be broken, citizens will cry
To the sleeping fool, an awakening will come
And sleep shall he fear
For the threat of men will keep his conscience busy
And the sufferings faced will not find pity but scorns
To Malaysia, Soon your pains will cease
Soon your people will be at peace
and those who hurt you shall be punished
You shall be vindicated, my beautiful country
And your people shall embrace You with love
Patience My beloved, Patience...

The patriotic despondency

After all these years, living in Malaysia,
i have learnt to love this country greatly despite all that is happening.

Our political system has served us well by having endless flaws to keep us (the public) entertained and equiped with Gossips. Almost every Malaysian would have something to criticize, and many would love to give recounts of their own tales, tales of the most Bizarre conspiracy theories ever known.
Ironically, Malaysia is stated as a harmonious country and one of the unique facts about this country is the diversity of races. Well, at least that's what the govt claims. Ask any citizen and one would be astounded with the given fact which are sadly truths.

but enough with politics. Malaysia is actually a good country to be in. Though the cost of living is high but then again, compared to other countries, we're very fortunate. Always count your blessings, I was always told by a pastor. haha. Anyway, we're not a war torn country. We have peace if we choose to ignore all that are happening around us.
We have enough food, enough opportunities, enough to eat, a shelter over our heads, simple cars and transportation to get us by and many beautiful people. It's not all that bad once you weigh the country overall.

I do not wish nor intend to Migrate because i feel that this country needs me and i love this country too. it's weird for me to be saying this but i guess we've got to grow up sometime.

I do wish for Malaysia to be rid of corruption and free from the grasp of evil and greedy politicians (you know who you are, Defilers of malaysia) and I'll be staying here to watch this country grow.

My health Issues

Recently, with so much happening, i've noticed my health declining. I'm ill now as i wrote, with fever, flu, and a sore throat plaguing me. Worst, it has been a few days now that i have not been well.

I suffer from certain insomnia and am unable to enjoy the regular sleep of normal hours. I get very tired physically and mentally, from all these agony and suffering. I need lots of coffee to sustain my 'soberness' and it's now like a drug that i need to get fixes regularly.

All in all, i start to wonder, am i being affected by the loss of something dear to me? Am I sick because my emotions are in a state of high imbalance and pain?

Well, whatever it is, I don't want to think of it that way. I am very weak currently and I don't know how long can i last but... death or no death, loss of anything at all, It doesn't mean i have to let it affect me and seek an excuse to hide my weakness. I will find the strength to survive and i will make sure I persevere through all this!

Ending an illusion

Many have realized that everything is about cause and effect. What you do now, you'll see the effects and suffer from it. Well, It's true. As far as I know.

Many of us do things or make certain commitments at the spur of the moment where we are strongly influenced by our Emotions. It is a gift to have emotions and a blessed ability to feel things. But is it good to overdo it and be over emotional?

MODERATION

Being overemotional, one cannot think right, think neutrally and thus, disables the most proficient and effective thinking. And it clouds judgment.

I'm happy to say, that i was able to out a mess effectively without my emotions getting in the way or my emotions affecting. If i had my emotions with me, i wouldn't be able to do and decide on that i decided. I'm actually please and relieved for doing the right thing.

Goodbye to those memories. I'll scatter them away in places where it is safest. And I shall not be nostalgic but i will move and be productive.
I'll bid my time to recover, and after that, i shall hide no more.

Facing pain

Lately i do feel different. I've realized myself behaving so oddly and i am deeply saddened by many things and the death of *****(someone and some issue which i prefer to keep silent), which deeply saddens me...

I would be a liar if i said that i wasn't affected at all. In fact, i am affected, but not in a great extent. I guess it's easier to face matters or issues: as bad as they can be or as dire, than face it later. I learn this fact from experience, to know there is no evasion from pain. An evasion or temporary one might be safe for a certain period. but being too protected only adds up to the pain that one would feel and won't that be a pay back?

I chose to face it and right now and i am glad to say that my determination and courage are paid off. I feel the sadness, i feel pain, but neither of it can suffice an influence over my emotions. I know pain is there, and ironically, i want to face it (to aid getting over it).

Pain and sufferings are necessary for growth. It is also the best catalyst for maturity.
Being able to stand through pain and hardships makes one strong but not immune. Being immune to pain is an impossible and surreal act.

Release

This is a real life story with names modified to protect the identity of those who wants to share their life story.

This time, it had to happen. He couldn't stop it nor find any means to postpone it. What has to come will have
to come, and he knew it for he breached his vow and will now suffer the consequences. Suffering is his destiny, despair his fate, hollowness in his heart was done by himself and he has to receive the consequences.
The poor girl suffered at his hand. Sweet, pretty, innocent, smart, adorable, a real darling... Serene was her name, given by her mother, inspired by a great woman who fought for the rights of women. Attending a convention, it was where she met him. He was assigned to be in the same team as she was. It was then he caught her attention. Smart, brilliant, good looking, eloquent, he was her ideal guy.
After getting to know each other for some time, he fell in love with her and henceforth, began dating. Not long after, they became intimate, so intimate they began carressing each other, getting more physical than they should be. Heavy petting and sensual massages, it was then they succumbed under the pressure and indulged in fornication.
It was then they realized all they were told about sex in relationships were all a lie.
On the contrary, sex destroys than unites. It destroy the respect between each other and defiles the marriage bed. Somehow, instead of feeling proud or satisfied, a deep sense of revulsion overwhelmes and emotions go haywire. Sadly many of the things where they thought would unify are the reason their relationship fell apart.
Serene felt disgusted and she felt horrible forhaving her purity defiled, her honor trampled upon, her virginity destroyed and her self respect lost. For Brock, he regretted every action he did to her. Now she's left without a value and is now in depression. In a way, he disgraced her. Everything destroyed, Serene felt as though she couldn't respect herself anymore, that her most valued possession was lost: her virginity, Brock felt like a rapist having defiled the girl he once claimed to love too much.

Months later, even after reconciliation, they couldn't stop thinking about that night where they had sex. It was shameful to even mention it, shameful to even admit it. Even when they made a vow to never indulge themself in futhur sexual encounters, the lust in them grew strong, with experiece and memory feeding it. Sometimes when they're alone, Brock would try to reach beneath the bra to fondle her or even insert his hands into her underwear and finger her. And sadly, he couldn't tell that it was wrong for when he engaged in premarital sex, he tore away part of his being and perverted his morality, hence the term sexual immorality. Poor Serene wanted to retain the little value but yet, she too succumb under the sensuality of perversion. Secretly, she enjoyed the touches, the sensuality, the feel of her flesh but... It was wrong. How guilt would always hur ther and torment her. It kept going on like these for 6 months and Finally, she couldn't take it anymore.
Crying bitterly, She phoned Brock and told him it's over. She knew it would hurt but it's the only way to make things right again, to cut off the source of the problem and move on. It was hard but Brock didn't make it hard for her. They had so many memories, it was all too much. But he too knew they had to part because they would both suffer worse than ever if they remained together.
Sadly, the end came and both parted though they were reluctant, though they were so much in love, it can never be. Both took time to sort out their misery, their confusion, their misguidance, in hope that all would be whole again.
Patiently, they waited till they have recovered from their problem before getting together again.

The Parody corrected (with reference to the below post)

We were given a task by a man named Emile, A flash game creator, XBox devotee (worshipper), A gifted teacher and trainer, A husband (and hopefully a father in years to come.)
Our task were basically simple, to produce evidence of the Parachute's Origins. We were shown how to search advancely (pedantically) for information and were told to judge for ourself, a reliable source.
Well, according to most sources, the first known sketches or invention of the Parachute was found in the Da Vincci's papers. Da Vionccin did create the parachute and shaped it in an odd pyramid shape. It was never known if his invention worked but it was he who induced the minds of the curious to investigate and ponder upon it.
It was later in 1785, where a French aeronaut named Jean Pierre Blanchard, claimed the invention. But then, the first succesful descent with a parachute from a considerable height was made by another French aeronaut named Jacques Garnerin who dropped 3,000 feet from a balloon in 1797. It was then, parachutes became an escape system, a failsafe for persons aboard balloons or aircrafts when unable to land safely.
Though it seems to be a simple invention and insignificant, it is actually a system of great complexity of aerodynamic knowledge. It provided resistance for landing and safety for the user. And acording to www.juliantrubin.com, it was Paul Letterman and Kathchen Paulus who invented the method of folding and packing the parachute in a knapsack to be worn before its release.

So, to me, it is Leonardo who initially created the idea of a parachute, but still, are there anymore before him, i guess it's the thrill of the mystery that is more intriguing perhaps.

The inane fancy of the Parachute's Origins (a parody)

In the begining, the Almighty Squid said to the Jellyfish: "Let us leap off the sea into the new world with the likes of you."
The sensitive Jellyfish, ofended by the term 'the likes of you', got offended and encased the Almighty Squid. The Squid, which was almighty, spat a jet of colorful ink at the Jellyfish as it was being consumed, cursed the Jellyfish to be just a sheet of color and to be plunged from the sky, each time suffering the fear of heights and of crashing, and its decendants the same.
And so, for centuries, the Jellyfish who consumed the Almighty Squid whithered and became hollow and thus appeared as the First Parachute.

When Leonardo Da Vincci first encountered the Jellyfish upon his youth -the ancient creature was enormous -He was stunned when the wind spirit embraced it. He was fascinated by how the wind toyed with it lightly, and it floated so gracefully. Immedietly, he fell on the ground, emptied his bag in search of parchment and ink, began to jot down his astonishments and the awe that beheld him.
Suddenly, the wind spirit went out of breath, as an early arcane asthma struck the wind and left it breathless. The Jellyfish descended slowly, its body a light mass of soft, floating with the air, and finally landed with a pathetic gracefulness. It was just then, an unlucky obese person, who just so happened to be having a self indulged picnic, went on to investigate. Being of a surreal appetite, the obese person thought of a giant pudding and tried to eat the colorful Jellyfish.
Angered and awakened by this rape, the Jellyfish, in a fit of mad rage, extended its tendrils (which were merly stingless cords) and wrapped itself against the obese person. As the obese shouted and screamed for help, his pleas were ignored. Then the wind spirit recovered and once again went back to his game with the Jellyfish.
The Obese person was taken up with the Jellyfish and despite being visually impossible to levitate through the laws of gravity, was floating despite his weight and he seemed as light as a feather.
As Leonardo Da Vincci saw it all, in pure esctasy of morbidity, stood up and jumped for joy for an idea had come upon him. He continued to sketch but was now faced with a new problem. What to call it?
Just then the Obese began to scream in Greek: "Para! Para! (which meant faulty), Shiu! Shiu! (a noise made to brush animals away)"
And Da Vincci named it, the Parachute.

Over the years, with the advent of education and new discoveries, men learnt to obey the laws of nature, but retained the sheer cheek of bending its laws and rules. From Da Vincci's sketch, it progressed for the better, and men learnt to go on air with the help of the Wright brothers. Then men learnt to take precaution if the plane crashed, by refering to Leonardo's sketches, and soon many started to claim the invention of the parachute their own. Such as Jean Pierre Blanchard in 1785, and then a better version or a more successful version by French aeronaut, Jacques Garnerin in 1797, and many more attempts.
Over the years, the myth forgotten but the Parachute, lived to serve men.

Disclaimer, This is utter nonsense by the writer.

The Pride of Proton, The joke of the Nation

Well, as you all know, at least those who are well versed with cars, that Proton is a car manufacturer of Malaysia.
Now Proton isn't anything special but another bias project of the country. The govt didn't consider its people when it first launched proton, adamant that it would be successful or it would be for the good of the people. For 25 yrs, because of proton, people suffered!

Firstly, it is very "Malaysian" to copy. And that's one of the most distinctive trait of Proton. It never produces its own technology but it steals from others. Such as most of the Proton models : The Saga, The Wira, The Putra, The Tiara, The perdana, are all facelifted and rebadged models. The technology of these cars originated from Mitsubishi motors and Mitsubishi themself didn't want these batch anymore as they feel it's out dated and old. SO, Proton decided to buy Mitsubishi's technology and call it its own as its a discarded series, It was cheaper.

So, proton decided to create its own line of cars, all of which were unorriginal and bore a huge resemblance to the Mitubishis.
Before Proton, cars were rather affordable, people could easily afford Hondas, Toyotas, Fords and many more. but since Proton, tax for the other manufactures were doubled, from a $40,000 car with tax became almost $90,000.
And Proton, with its cheap build and sloppy quality, demanded a solid average of $50,000 to $60,000. Personally, i don't think it's worthy as other cars of better build and quality are cheaper, and proton knows it so, it forced its people to buy it.

And looking at Proton's plant, there aren't any Indians or Chinese working there. Actually, to be Pedantically correct, neither of the mentioned race are permitted to work as Proton is strictly a "Malay" company. Well, they reportedly lost $281 million in 2006 and $168million in 2007. And proton was so bold to blame competitors for discounts. What a laugh. other rivals have the technology, have the quality, have the reputation that Proton was never able to keep. Most manufacturers have already acquired the technology of Variable Valve timing, which originated from Honda's VTEC, but most have got it except for Proton.

I do look forward to see proton fall more if they're still so bloody arrogant. Even turning down Volkswagen's help when offered because of a little sales increase. Well, all the best Proton. May your quality quirks be ironed out and that you learn more from past mistakes (an endless complain list of them), or else you'll be our laughing stock, and a good source and entertainment too btw.

The Butterfly concept

A year ago, i was on the train on the way to a conference. Though taking a train is a wise action or decision as one saves so much on fuel and parking fees, taking trains with services maintained scarcely is horrendous!
Waiting for trains, waiting through the meaningless delays, waiting for the train to come as the delay increased over silly announcements (the guy announcing tried to put on an acent but... it was so stupid and wannabe that i wanted to slap him [to the announcer: You Know Who You Are!!!]). The delays were actually caused by sloppy maintainence. And If KTM (Yes, I am revealing you!) holds a 'title' as the national train, I'd like to take that claim a joke and a childish act.
But after a painstaking delay of 25 mins (not including the whole time i waited), the train came and i was plungged into a compartment of people with all sorts of smells mixed as stench, and I tried to keep a strigth face despite my desire to wince. It was then i noticed something interesting, something meaningful, something Philosophical.
A young lady, possibly around 14 to 16, was wearing a shirt with the words "LOVE IS LIKE A BUTTERFLY". Curious and prompted at that amusing statement, i read on. on her shirt, it says:
'Love is like a butterfly. It escapes your grasp when you try to reach for it, But if you wait patiently for, it will come and perch itself upon you.'
How beautiful and truthful, It was a reflection of today's society.
Most youths and adults suffer most from emotional problems caused by relationships. It's mostly, they try hard to find love to replace a certain hollow in them due to certain reasons, and they wind up getting hurt becaused they were misguided.
If we were to practise patience and wait upon matters to ocsilliate, wouldn't things be so much better and wouldn't things be more stabe as they took the nessecary time to develope?
With faith, all is possible.

Driving a Pick-Up!

A first attempt to drive a pick-up proves to be the best driving experience for me.

Not to be biased as I love large cars and trucks (Mainly for their outstanding performance and durablity), i also love conventional sedans, coupes and hatchbacks. But recently my interest has been inclined towards diesel Engines and cars/trucks with good torque (low-end) such as the ISUZU D-Max, with its linear torque at 1,800 to 3,000 rpm, which is outstanding. To my preferences, i'd prefer a car with more torque than Horsepower. Mainly it's because i reckon its more reliable and versatile.
If I were to travel uphill and around tough areas, a pickup would certainly be highly recomended. Even if i'm not driving in those conditions, I'd still like a pickup.
To me, a pickup exerts a certain appeal, a strong sense of toughness, reliability, masculinity, aggression, versatility, power, size and coolness. To be able to drive one was such a thrill. And the truck that I drove, was none other than the great King of mileage, The ISUZU D-Max.
It was surprisingly easy to drive and power was in every gear. The clutch was light as was the steering, the throttle pedal easy to configure (the behavior) and the cockpit's ergonomics were superb. The dash was clear and beautiful, the interior comfy and welcoming, the driving position good and versatile....
To be honest, I have nothing but good comments about the truck. It was better than driving a conventional car or even a sports car.

Maybe in future, I would be able to own one?
Having driven numerous cars in varioys conditions and choices, The pickup is the best experience i've had and it's for me to look forward to.

Facebook?

Well, face book is Fun!

Though privacy issues are a problem but still, it's real cool and fun to use.

There so many games and activities to be done on face book. Fun's the word to descride it all. i really enjoyed myself wasting some time there playing.

But the cool features, it loads and works quicker and more effeciently than friendster does. You'd have to wait and slowly load but then, with facebook, all is fun.

Join facebook and feel the social networking yourself. It's fun and try it today

A review on social networking

We were assigned to set up our own account in either one of the social networking sites there is such as Friendster; Facebook; my space and etc.

I wasn't really interested whatsoever but... i guess what harm could it do, I am not of any significance to federal juristictions and other load of rules, I'm just accused of being eccentric.
But having enough knowledge with social networking, i decided to try out face book.

Before facebook, i heard about friendster which was at that time, the 'in' thing for youths to look at and spend time on. I wasn't particularly intersted till this girl made me make an account and have me add her on it.

Adding friends in your account seems like a popular hobby of most youths and i daresay some spend too much time on it. But friendster is quite a nice site with lots of features. PC savy people can easily change the format and background of the page and nicer still, you can add vids onto it. In the form of URl and you can upload ample pictures for your friends to see. And you could put a sound track to yr page which is kinda cool.

It's like a personal space on the net. and one of the more admirable feature is its security. Not everyone can access a page of a friend unless the user or owner of the page allows so. You can actually select to allow yr added frens to view your profile or anyone else.

I like friendster more compared to facebook based on the features. Facebook allows any user to gain access to anyone's profile and view whatever he or she is involved in or part of. It doesn't really show security nor retaining any privacy. But facebook is more popular because it's the new thing. and it has better security against spam ads which are specially annoying.

Meet the Spartans? Meet the genius!

One thing about me, I do love parodies and satires so much that I always try to make parodies and satires out of decencies. Well, pardon my inaneness.

Well, it was a brilliant movie and it was a real laugh! I enjoyed the laughter and the fun shared as i watched it with my significant other. haha. It had so many elements and it made fun and even went to the extent of mocking some of them. So, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

But they did overdo certain scenes and parts which wasn't that impressive or was just lame and typical, but hey, Laugh with the crowd and have fun. You'll feel so much better after the laughter.

So, i'll give a thumb up for this show, which is on a paramount compared to 'sweeney Todd'!
Enjoy a laugh today and Be a Spartan(figuratively, or you can start wearing red capes and leather underwear and walk around. Hope you won't be arrested;P)

I RUE SWEENEY TODD

The day i watched Sweeney Todd, t'was such a dread and a murderous movie (literarily!) that i felt more murdered and maimed psychologically than the dead victims!

Among the few cinema outlets, TGV, GSC and Cathay, my significant other and i went to Cathay, a bad choice as the seats were cramped and small, tight and irritable. I fidgetted around in the constraining carrell, and i was fortunate not to be clausterphobic because it nearly drove me there.

The movie is a must see if you're tone deaf and have a fetish for gothically grotesque people, baseless and meaningless slitthing of throats and a terrible performance!
MY GOD!!!! this was the worst show of the year, worse than AVP2!
The singing almost drove me nuts, they tried to be creative but they overdid it and made fools of us who pay to watch it.

Doesn't mean that if Johnny Depp is a good actor means it's a good movie. I was thoroughly disappointed and I hate the movie (if it is even worth the name of 'movie')!!!

This show is Lousy and bad beyond words but justified by you watching it when you could have paid the money to do something else and spend your time more wisely.

If art was translated to the movie, I'd say the movie managed to tarnish the very beauty of Art.

As a conclusion, I hate this show!

Safe Internet? Risk Involved?!!?

Well, if the Internet wasn't safe, none of us would be alive to use it. There are certain risk to it but to me, it's still safe - not like it will take away your life span.
But the risks involved are real. One would realize another's (particularly a techno geek's) knowledge of the Internet and on networking would be a potential threat for that individual to hack into your system (not like there's anything special in mine but it just feels uncomfortable like someone watching you in your shower.). Well, some who suffered from it have claimed pictures of them "indecently" dressed taken via a web cam.
Other threats include virus and worms, or horses like a Trojan and many weird assortment of names.
Well, to curb my frivolous side, i think the biggest threats are to people with an access to it without close observation from others. Parents worry tirelessly for their kids with a computer in their room. They'll be wondering what type of sites are they on and whether are they perverted.
For the insecure spouse or significant other, their worst fear is to see their partner going on certain sites and that would be damaging to a relationship if it really happens.

But to be fair, the Internet is a highly powerful tool that has benefited so many. without it, communication and education would not be as advanced as it is now. The only danger lies with the user. Nothing is bad if it is used properly and moderately. Abuse of these privileges are the risk faced.
